Philippians - New Testament Sermon Index

Philippians - Written by Paul to assure the believers in Philippi of God's unfailing purpose through his imprisonment. One of four "prison epistles", the overall theme is the believer's joy. It contains important instructions throughout on how to handle rivalry and jealousy between believers (especially chapter 2). Chapter four covers perhaps the key passage for overcoming worry (vs.6-9).

Overview (John MacArthur):
The Epistle of Joy
